Summer fun has begun! In the months of July & August we have a variety of events for children and adults of all ages. On Sunday, July 5th Peace will join St. Paul for an outdoor worship service at St. Paul (12925 County Road 9). Worship begins at 10:00 (so sleep in a bit). A lunch will follow the service. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and a dish to share (if you don’t have them, please come anyway!). Don’t miss the Eyota Days Church Night concert on Wednesday, July 15th at the Legion Tent. Christian Crossings will be here once again to help raise money for the Eyota God Squad. On Sunday, July 19th Peace will take part in the Eyota Days Ecumenical Worship Service at 9:15 under the tent by the Eyota Legion. The Eyota Days Waffle Breakfast on July 19th will raise money to pay for our community Bible School. Swing on by the Legion after worship to help support this excellent effort! Minnesota Twins Night – Peace is heading to the Dome on Tuesday, July 28th. $25 will cover the ticket, bus costs, and a simple sack supper. We will leave the Peace office at 4:30. If interested, talk to Brenda Szuberski (289-6346). On Sunday, August 9th Peace will worship God by serving our neighbors! There will be no worship at the gym…instead we will have projects going on all over town. More details will be coming soon. August 22nd - Congregation camping trip. More info coming soon!
